About Paul Simoes

A Fighter for Kitchener-Centre

I’m Paul Simoes, a first-generation Canadian, born to hardworking immigrant parents who taught me the value of perseverance and integrity.

My father was a steel welder, and my mother worked in a chip factory—blue-collar workers who built a life in this country through sacrifice and determination.

Their example shaped who I am today, someone who believes in hard work, personal responsibility, and standing up for what’s right.

Born in Brantford and raised in Cambridge, I grew up with a strong sense of community and a desire to protect those around me.

That mindset led me to martial arts at the age of 10. Eventually earning black belts in Krav Maga, Karate, and Aikido, along with ranks in Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

In 1998, I opened my own martial arts studio, teaching others how to defend themselves and build confidence. But like many small business owners, I was forced to close my doors due to government-imposed lockdowns—a decision that devastated local entrepreneurs while politicians continued collecting paycheques.

Refusing to be sidelined, I pivoted to digital marketing, launching Simoes Media to help businesses grow through web design, email marketing, and paid ads.

But no matter how much success I found, one thing kept bothering me- the direction Ontario was heading.

Reckless spending, high taxes, and a government that puts politics over people.

That’s why I joined the New Blue Party of Ontario—a movement committed to conservative values, accountability, and putting Ontarians first.

This is my third election, and I’m running because I refuse to sit back and watch our province fall apart.

I have five children, ages 4 to 17, and like every parent, I worry about their future.

If we don’t fight back now, Ontario won’t be a place they can afford to live, work, or raise their own families.

Kitchener-Centre deserves a representative who will fight for them—not for career politicians or special interests.

I’m not here to make empty promises. I’m here to bring real change to Queen’s Park before we lose our province forever.

Join me in taking back Ontario—before it’s too late.
