Our Plan to Fix the Addiction Crisis
✅ End Government-Funded Drug Injection Sites – Enabling addiction isn’t the answer. The evidence shows that CTS sites do not reduce drug use or crime—they make things worse for both addicts and the community.
✅ Invest in Treatment & Recovery Programs – Instead of spending taxpayer money on government-sanctioned drug use, we will redirect funding to detox centers, rehab facilities, and mental health services that help people get clean and rebuild their lives.
✅ Increase Mental Health Support – Many struggling with addiction have underlying mental health issues that go untreated. We will ensure that people get the care they need before addiction takes over their lives.
✅ Strengthen Law Enforcement Against Drug Traffickers – While we support helping those who want to recover, we must crack down on drug dealers and organized crime profiting from the suffering of vulnerable people in Kitchener Centre.
